  1. There does need to be a rethink of the playoffs. The championship finished at the beginning of May and the final is at the end, so Reading and Huddersfield have to wait all this month until they know what division they are going to be in so they start planning properly for next season and by then most of their top targets will probably be unavailable.
  2. The road works on the East Lancs Road in Liverpool. They've been there holding up traffic for weeks and it doesn't look like they have done anything.
  3. Anyone else watch the Milan derby this morning. Inter were 2-0 up until the 83rd minute when Milan pulled one back and then they equalised in the seventh minute of stoppage time.
  4. I haven't seen it mentioned on here but has anyone else been watching Taboo. I can't believe that it is the last episode this Saturday already. It has flown by, which probably shows how much I've enjoyed it.
  5. I think he had earned the right to be there for the season after what he achieved and he would have been good enough to get promoted at the first attempt if they are to go down.
  6. Thankfully that doesn't apply to Absolute and I don't listen to Radio City so I don't have to put up with this.
  7. I'm about to start another week at work where I'll be subjected to the delights of heart radio while everyone will have the nerve to say that my taste in music is "horrendous". I usually switch the station to Absolute as that just requires a flicking of the fm/am switch and they do play some good stuff but most of the tome I have to put up with what is probably the worst radio station in the UK. It really is the epitome of naff.
  8. Instead of people saying "remember when Leicester won the league?" It will be "remember when Leicester won the league and were relegated the year after?" Most of their players don't look interested.
  9. The new Sainsbury's Christmas advert, which is about how the best gift that you can give to your family is just to be with them. I take it that Sainsbury's will set an example and decide to close on Boxing day so we Can. spend it with our families? I remember when it was only the high street shops that owned on boxing day and now everywhere does. My store never used to but started a couple of years ago although I never saw any demand from anyone to do so.
  10. I'm well behind the times but I have been watching Making a Murderer. Riveting stuff. I am upto the start of Brendans trial now.
  11. An Irish woman came into the petrol station where I work on friday to buy cigarettes with a refund card that she had got from the store 10 minutes previously. Refund cards usually take about 24 hours for the money to clear so if so it didn't work. She tried taking the cigarettes anyway but my colleague took them and she left in a huff. On Sunday one of her mates came in and launched a stream of abuse at everyone because her mate wasn't allowed her cigarettes and then went over to the store where she was given a £10 gift voucher for her inconvenience.
  12. Toxicity - System Of A Down. First time I've listened to it for a while.
  13. I've seen the trailer for the second season of Ash vs Evil dead on facebook. Going by that it will be just as good as the first season.
  14. The people vs OJ Simpson. If it was a fictional show it would be panned for being too far fetched.
  15. A bit late I know but I have just finished watching the most recent series of The Bridge. I thought it was really good and the actress who plays Saga is fantastic. It's obvious what the next series will be about if there is going to be another one, as one of the cast said that there will only be another one if the writers come up with a good enough script
  16. Watched the first episde last night and i can confirm that it was brilliant. They managed to get the mix of comedy annd gore just right.
