I'd say if you're having to dig out a single clip from 5 seasons ago it's probably not a good sign either to be honest. -

I saw some rumours of Tee Ritson potentially being lined up somewhere, can't remember where though. -

I thought he looked a player destined for SL a few years ago but seems to have gone backwards in recent years. He's not looked very impressive in the games I've seen from Bradford this year -

Seems a strange decision this one, he's been one of your better players from the games i've seen. -
13 currently, but some will be quite easy decisions on departures. Inu, Hitchcox, Ioane and Hingano will be definite departures and Nakubuwai highly likely. The key retentions to make from the overseas players are Nene MacDonald, John Asiata, Edwin Ipape and Tom Amone all of which should be staying. Interestingly, when looking through the operational rules regarding Non federation trained players, the wording for the SL rule of 7 seems to specifically apply to those named in a 21-man matchday squad and not the squad as a whole. Theoretically, you could carry additional NFT players providing 7 were named in any given 21-man squad.
-
I think the most likely scenario is Ata Hingano is let go and replaced by another import to take a starting half spot, with Mellor and Reynolds to compete for the remaining place. There isn't exactly a wealth of homegrown halves at the moment, even Saints are struggling with depth once Dodds got injured.

Nisbett is on a season loan with no recall at Leigh, he's not in the 1st 17 but has been getting some game time including last week against Sheffield. He even played a one or 2 at second row when Wardle was injured and looked ok so it wouldn't surprise me if he joined on a permanent when his contract expires as squad cover for next year. -
True regarding certain coaches being able to squeeze out more value, but a Craig Lingard wouldn't have been able to attract the calibre of player we have from overseas, particularly those like Ipape, MacDonald and Blake Ferguson where there was either the PNG connection or working together for the Australian national team. A perfect example of this was the fact we tried to sign Nene MacDonald for last year when we were in SL. I was fairly sceptical of Lams appointment due to the way Wigan were playing last season, but he's done a phenomenal job building a team from nothing at Leigh and whilst we still look a little clunky in attack from time to time, it's comfortably the best defending Leigh team i've seen in my lifetime. To be fair to Lam also, both Jai Field and Bevan French were injured pretty much all of last year and there is certainly an argument to be made that they have been central to Wigan's play this season. The season he did have French fit they were a missed penalty away from winning that grand final.

So you know the salaries of Ben Mathiou, Bailey Gill AND Kieran Dixon? Interesting. I didn't start anything, I made a comment about them because they've just been sent out on loan whilst your coach has been in the press saying you are close to being unable to field 17 players. Not sure why you are so touchy, doesn't take a genius to see Fevs recruitment has been scattergun at best this year. -

Fingers crossed, it is pretty exciting to be recruiting so early for once, can't remember the last time we had a core squad signed up before October, let alone July. With Matt Davis reportedly on the way also, it's gets some good non quote players in to supplement the very good overseas player we will be keeping. -

You seemed confident enough to claim they were on less than kieran Dixon...
