Just got back...I'm not going negative at all and I wish nothing but the best for the event.....my understanding is that the crowd was about the same size as the UNLV college football games played there...good. But what is the plan????....there isn't one. Thats not being negative but rather just realistic. This has nothing in the way Toronto was treated.....I'm all for RL in North America but the progress is slow my friend....like watching the maple syrup flow on a cold day.

Ha..ha...ha....of all the posters on here I would not have taken you as a Fox news fan...once again you have given me my laugh for the day. Oh the tangled webs we weave when first we attempt to deceive. Thank You. I'm heading into the Bush for a few days within the hour...Bush reports say black bears are waking up from hibernation early so will probably have a run in with a hungry fella while hiking....this is my prime concern right now...gotta be ready! Just browsing the Las Vegas News' no mention of the games...the headline is that UNLV (college footballl team) is beginning pre season practice...that about sums it up.

Lots since I follow the sports very closely...and I've been following this one closely. I think the model they are using is wrong but we have been through this all before last time. I predict its another one off. More people are following the Grapefruit League out west than this event. No one has even heard of it to be fair.

Its not going to go off except as a one time thing in Vegas...same as last time. Non existent press coverage in the sports mainstream media over here...zip, nadda. Baseball has started up, hockey is currently king in Vegas with the Golden Knights, basketball going strong, new football league starting...nothing about RL.....I think the model that NRL is using is not adequate. O how I hate to be the naysayer but I don't see it catching on like some posters on here believe...I think its another no go.

North America.....right in the middle of the celestial plane. The Las Vegas Golden Knights are getting ten times the exposure in Las Vegas than this event.

This whole thing is getting 'zero' coverage or press over here. No one knows about it except those dedicated to RL......basketball and hockey are mainstays at the moment. Soccer is starting up and the new football league is getting some attention. I literally have not heard one drop in the mainstream sports media about it.

It looked good to me Harry...I watched the game and i thought Wigan won fair and square...Lady Luck did smile on them a bit though but we are both old enough to understand that one should never turn from the smile of Lady Luck.

There were some close calls (there always are) but I thought the ref did a good job....Penrith blew it by finishing so many sets without a kick...they thought they could run it down the throat of Wigan, but they were held....victory Wigan. When the Super League champs get hosted by West Tigers next year things might be different.

Toronto certainly was expelled though....it reminded me of this crazy guy in highschool, except this guy was expelled and given alternative instruction....us folks in Toronto got nothing, nadda, ziltch! Woe am I!!!!!
