You are, of course, entitled to that opinion. To me it's like nails on a blackboard. -

True, but I wish it had been on mute from the start. -

I met some of the Australian players today at a golf course. Tedesco, Burton, Trbojevic and RCG among them. The fact that they were so nice makes it harder to hate them when they play England but I promised them I would try my hardest. -

I would expect him to say Welsby. -

The bar next door to the Spoons, The Brewery Tap, is also very good, but obviously a bit more expensive. -
the worlds top 5 players now

Many of the so called superstars of the game have come over here, bombed, and returned with their tails between their legs. Just because you look good whilst surrounded by other great players does not make you the best player in the world. To be the best you have to excel in all conditions and competitions, etc. Playing in your smoking jacket whilst surrounded by other great players does not make you great. Samoa’s stand off proved that last week. He looks fantastic in Penrith’s all conquering team, and looked like a chump against England last week. -

If you want a pint beforehand head into Westhoughton, park up and have a few beers. Get the train from Westhoughton to Horwich Parkway station. -

C'mon Johnny, I wasn't born yesterday. You know what you are doing. -

I didn't realise you had mentioned any of the attributes of the players mentioned, just that they all play in the NRL. Is that an attribute? -

Your definition of a massive strop is obviously very different from mine. I just get a bit tired of Miserable Johnny banging on about NRL players and using the thread as a vehicle to transport himself to his only happy place. -

You can do whatever you like. I just wonder why the conversation about NRL players needs to happen over and over again. -

If they are, will you rate them as one of the top 5 bands in the world? -

And every other player that doesn't play in the NRL by the looks of it. Yet another thread pandering to the NRL Kleenex crew. -

Agree about Welsby but I would like him more if he played for the team he supported as a boy. -
Where does Sculthorpe rank?
Jim Prendle replied to Welshleaguelover's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
I've known Farrell for many years and fat is never a accusation you could level at him. When he first started playing the club wondered if he would ever put enough weight on to make it at the top level. If your dad thinks Farrell was a fat prop he can't have watched as much union as you claim. Compared to every union prop I have ever seen Farrell is positively anorexic. -

Then you will have to take my word for it. Sculthorpe and Roby were both good players, but Hanley was extraordinary. -

If Wiganers get to vote it will be a landslide victory for the pro independence Lobby.
