Salford FC move to AJB is OFF

Do you mean the Moor Lane move? As per my last post I think if they had taken it as offered they would be in a much mich better place that they currently are -

That's exactly what I think about them!! I haven't even enjoyed their admittedly nice style of play over the last few years because I know the truth that's its all on the tick (and the stadium looks empty/awful on telly) -
I've rushed a first team of 3 out today as a banker in case I don't get chance to do my proper one tommoriw

I agree and I would prefer Salford to be strong However for a while they took the central funding and blew it on player salaries instead of building up the club -

Errr....they've been good in the pitch because they have neglected things soff the pitch like development of the club .....they used far too much money on players instead of developing the club....they had success on the pitch and it hardly seemed to affect their attendances I don't hate Salford but all this fawning over them is rubbish -

The more i think about it the more they really should have taken the Moor Lane stadium It's the correct size for them From memory they would own it and be able to make all the money they want? Exactly what is so desirable for SRD to keep a stadium they can only half fill and can't afford? -

Salford have been strong for a few seasons now...in terms of league and cup Not sure why having them is better than say a club that can actually run on a financially sound basis I strongly suspect this year will be there reckoning on the pitch anyway -
‘Major blow to Challenge Cup’
Bedfordshire Bronco replied to Cheadle Leyther's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
There are quite a lot of people down here who follow both codes However I'd say less of a problem than if it was an international. Unlike CC final there are less people who will go to the Premier final as a neutral -

Update Done one week of low salt (or just not absolutely loads of salt added to everything I eat) .... Down to 118 ish over 68 ish That's at work and home over several tests and using two different devices (as before) So there you go.....I'm sticking to less salt! -
Oh I have a long way to go as mine are 11 and 9 but it occurred to me that in 7 years one will (hopefully) be at uni then the other Even before that the eldest is not going to be a 'child' for too much longer Then I realized that over half the 'job' is done on term of having non adult children There are a lot very old people on here who have probably been through this......so what is it like going back to not having little kids ? Trying to appreciate every moment etc but it feels like a slog of gets kids ready for school, work, kids clubs after school, clean the kids and clean the house, sleep ....repeat for what seems like forever Only now realizing it won't be like this forever and not really many years left Anyway...just thinking out loud and wondered if anyone has any thoughts

I played both as a youngster .....I'm too old and slow to play league now I only watch union as like a Nicorrette patch for the RL off season....and only club union....can't stand international kick and clap

Was asked to do a blood pressure for a doctor online check Surprised to see it at 130/80 I get to the gym 5 times a week and eat enough good stuff with no smoking or vapes Downsides are too much coffee and still a bit weekend boozy. Also I'm an anxious guy generally I would hope the upsides and downsides cancel so... .. I do eat a very high protein diet and I think I've put the bp down to salt in lots of my protein snacks......(I'll eat 2 packs of ham just to get the protein as a snack) Advice says lower salt diet and about a week later BP should drop....so I'm dropping the packs of chicken satays and ham....replaced with more protein yoghurts and beef slices (much lower salt) Going to do BP every day and see (I'm too beautiful to die young) Any others had this?
