Where would you play Saints v Wigan though, if neutral venues could easily be booked with two weeks notice? Leigh or Warrington would be far too boring and scream tin pot. Bolton is too big, Ewood Park or Turf Moor maybe? A good thing about Elland Road is that it’s famous and many will never have been there before, so may be attracted to go there rather than another SL ground where they go for regular SL fixtures.

I’d think HKR will take a few more than 5k and Huddersfield more than 2k. Not loads more like, maybe 7 and 3.5.

That would be a bit silly considering the ground holds nearly 38k and three of the clubs can easily sell more than 5k tickets.

They’re doing ok on the pitch and excellently off it. That is a success, compared to some clubs such as for example Leeds who are doing hideously on and off the field.

I dont think so, it’s a fairly full dump which is better than a quarter full nice ground, the Cas and Hull televised games today demonstrate that perfectly.

It looked great on tv. I don’t know why everyone says their ground is an embarrassment, it’s a dump for sure but their crowd looks good in it on tv, much more so than many SL clubs.
