Interesting that Lawton thanks lots board / staff members in report on clubs website - but doesn't mention Longy?
-
Surely can't now be letting DC go with Logan gone and Riley injured. Logan looked lightweight again on Sunday and surely wouldn't have got another contract for next year. Good luck to him
-
Would play DC rather than Logan after today. Logan didn't take his chance in my view. Don't see why we would release DC with such limited cover at the moment. Lannon looked like he had done his ribs today was in a lot of pain having come off so I would look to keep Lawton till end of season now.
-
Also why would you move from a quality ground to somewhere housing 4000 which would completely rule out getting into Super League in the future because of the ground.
-
None of the above. Stay at Boundary Park, no merger, no kit change. Name not concerned about
-
We got over the line just. Some poor discipline nearly cost us. Good to see ET and BOK back. Will need to play better against Widnes to get the points.
-
Thought the pitch looked great when we last played there - so can't be much to be done. As long as it's just one game that isn't too bad and far better than the Yeds nomadic existance of the past
-
Fully agree - a few errors in my opinion 1) Pons knock-on on our 10m line leading to first try - clear hand-in from Tolouse player at PTB. 2) We kicked through they knocked on their 10m line - he gave play on 3) Drop out when they clearly kicked it dead - laughable 4) They kicked through - PLT knocked it clearly backwards - Lannon picked it up he gave knock-on I could go on....but just getting annoyed. Toulouse were better team and our lads did well in that heat. Didn't expect to win but terrible referreing decisions at critical points in the match clearly swung it Tolouse way. RFL - Please do not give us this ref again - needs to be reffing amateur games.
-
Agree he is a great winger but I think we need some younger players as well.
-
Felt like penalty count was the other way round in our favour. He gave us everything 1st half.
-
Good professional performance today. 1st half they were unstoppable. Decent following of Yeds on basis of half the town having gone to Wembley - well done latics as well
-
Think yesterday demonstrated a very clear quality gap between two groups. Toulouse, Bradford and Featherstone - each of whom demonstrated against us that they played at a pace that we struggled to deal with. Then the rest - where we are one of the leading contendors. We played superb yesterday and fielded probaby the biggest pack I remember Yeds having and Fax struggled to deal with and were worn down. Think the team is now looking good but may need another centre as JT clearly struggling with injuries and for pace when he is in the team.
-
Thought that was our best performance since the early season game. New signings paying off - between them scored a few today. Craven has to play going forward - he played great and takes pressure of Drinky as can create / kick. Pons did well on his debut. Was suprised at Fax - expected them to be better based on league position.

THE BIG ONE - Oldham Vs Fev. Cup Semi-Final.

Simply outclassed! Fev were better in all aspects of the game. Roughyeds gave it their best but just not on Fev's level -
Just hope they are not all 32/ 33 years old. Think we are impacted by some of the older players carrying injuries. We need some youger lads as well.
