  1. Someone mentioned on the radio before that a Forest fan has run at Billy Sharp durning the celebrations and head butted him which floored him. Clubs will have to clampdown on pitch invasions, it’s no good banning fans for most of the season and then turn a blind eye for the last couple of league games . They will have to tell fans if you encroach onto the pitch you will be banned for life. That should then put fans running onto the pitch hopefully.
  2. I think clubs are going to have too sort out the pitch invasions. But what a game Samba had.
  3. Samba’s save with his leg was a fantastic. Even i am nervous and i don’t care who wins.
  4. The Forest/Sheff U game is a cracker, what a comeback by the blades.
  5. I have just seen Paul Cooke’s interview with the BBC Radio Sheffield reporter Rob Stanton. To say he wasn’t happy with the questions Rob asked him was an understatement, in fact he wouldn’t ask any more of his questions because he said “they were too negative and instead he should be asking him about the buildup to the Woking game” (which was played yesterday). They had only won 1 out of the last nine games up until Sunday. Mr Stanton wouldn’t budge with what he wanted to ask so Cooke cancelled the interview.
  6. Jordan Rhodes has always been a decent goal scorer especially in his first spell at Huddersfield and then Blackburn. I don’t know if he is staying at Huddersfield next season but if he isn’t he’d be a good signing for any club below the Premier League.
  7. Huddersfield/Luton should be a good match but you’d expect the home side to win, they are favourites. I think I’ll have to keep flicking over from the RL and the football.
  8. I remember when i was a little lad my brother got a laughing policeman toy(if it can be classed as that). It was some contraption in a bag and when you pressed the button on it it made the sound of the laughing policeman ?.
  9. They didn’t watch it as they was at one of their mates wedding. I couldn’t tell them what the match was like because i didn’t watch it, but i told them to “enjoy their fifteen minutes of mantra-filled Oompah”. I’ll let you RayCee do the high-fiving next time they’re in NZ. But don’t go anywhere near a service station with them though.
  10. Why would people want to do that ?. Was it the local Yoof who thought they were dead hard. If there is any cctv footage id be sending them a bill for the seat they damaged.
  11. I remember when i was at school the FA Cup final used to be huge, from the buildup in the morning on children’s TV right through to KO. It’ll be exciting for both sets of fans making their way to Wembley but im more looking forward to watching the Sheff Utd vs Forest, Mansfield vs Northampton in the play offs. Then hear how York City go on against Brackley.
  12. There are just too many games.
  13. It looks dreadful but the big clubs are happy about it. It’s the Conference league and the UEFA cup (or whatever it’s called) that fan’s are not keen on.
  14. The only time the champions league gets interesting is when the league format is finished.
  15. They can have the FA Cup, the Milk Cup, the Champions League as long as they don’t win the league. I remember when the European Cup used to be for clubs that finished first. Now you can become champions of Europe even though you wasn’t the champions in your own league. I think in a couple of years UEFA are going to make it even more crazier and watered down.
  16. Great win for City. I have just spent the last 20mins taunting my two nephews who went off the rails years back when they became LFC fans from the age of about 11. Now they’re LFC season ticket holders, i don’t know were they went wrong but i have blamed their parents. But the league is not won yet, there are still pts to play for.
  17. It’s amazing how many teams come up from the championship and after a good first season they have a dreadful second season. Unless you’re Norwich City then you’re up & down all the time. If i was a canary then id be peeved about their inability to stay up.
  18. The non-league game is very strong in Warrington at the mo, i think Rylands have done really well. Widnes are doing well with the gates they get. Cables have got a battle to stay up but they had a excellent turnout for the derby match against Marine. I wonder if the FAC run Marine had last season(was it in 2020/21) has helped them financially to get players in. They are the only side currently in the NPL 1 West averaging over 1,100, but Workington crowds are up around 80% on last year. Wasnt there talk a few years back “Route 66” about the RL & Football clubs sharing a new stadium in Workington ?.
  19. I apologise if this has been mentioned in the previous pages. Has anyone seen Operation Mincemeat, is it worth going to the pictures to watch it ?.
  20. Scunthorpe are down, but great wins for Stevenage & Barrow. I still don’t think OAFC are down yet.
  21. I started watching Murder Maps last night as i have never seen it before. It is very good.
  22. Oh also “Girl In A Band” by Kim Gordon from Sonic Youth. She is someone i always fancied.
  23. I purchased from a charity shop on Saturday “The Five : The Untold Lives Of The Women Killed By Jack The Ripper by Hallie Rubenhold”
  24. Crewe are down after today’s loss against Doncaster, it was on the cards but it is now. I think the only other club to be relegated so far is Dover Athletic, but their season looked doomed from the start.
  25. A big win for Oldham at Stevenage yesterday. I think that definitely could be the nail in the coffin for Stevenage now, they can’t get a win anywhere whilst most of the other clubs above them are picking up victories. That is all but Barrow but their goal difference is far better than Boro’s.
