We create caps for the two teams games would sit just under test match status, You could even have SL Stars v Tourist as a warm up match before playing England. -

I would create two teams team one The Super League LIONS (England players playing in super league ) verse The super league STARS ( all other nationalities playing in super league) Super League Lions could play in a Great Britain style kit. While the Stars play in a navy blue kit with stars on. The number of stars represent how many different nationality players are playing for the Stars. 3 match series. Give the series to channel four. Players would receive caps for appearances. -
New World Cup format confirmed for 2026
south yorkshire replied to Copa's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
World cup ten team format i would like to one group ten teams each play five balanced matches top six make knock with play off format like super league. For group games rank every ten one to ten . Odd number rank teams play even number ranked teams. Ashes has to be England now as much as liked GB growing up but we have spent for too much time and money now to promote the England brand to throw it away now. Ireland i think could be our best bet to expand our game in Europe. They are a rugby mad nation and Gallic football. The Ariva Stadium could be a great venue for a magic weekend. There is alot of 2nd and 3rd generation Irish people living in England especially in North west. -
Eagles have received funds from an unnamed investor who does not want to be name. Investment came in at beginning of this season . Eagles brought in a few players and have them tied in 3 year deals.

England v Tonga series
south yorkshire replied to Man of Kent's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
What do you want the RFL to do they cant just play games on wimp . Its like saying lets play a game at Norwich as arm chair Jim in great Yarmouth might pop along if the weather is ok. The RFL is losing money and Tonga series is a new adventure and a risk . They have tried to play safe.- 567 replies

life below super league
south yorkshire replied to south yorkshire's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
That what IMG are there for to help and encourage teams up to super league standards . Start with 12 teams once they all get upto grade A we can start adding other once they reach grade A . What I read about the proposals there's no limit in the end on how many team with have in super league if all grade A standard . -
i would say 11 are now competitive with Wakefield starting to get there act together after a nightmare start. Castleford have been competitive in recent season and are going through a transitional period.

England v Tonga series

All depends how much of a fan of the game you are . I lived in Harlow for over ten years and still traveled to watch England and my two local teams.- 567 replies

England v Tonga series
south yorkshire replied to Man of Kent's topic in The General Rugby League Forum
I am not saying I don't want them i'm just saying if you really want to see one of the internationals there is nothing stopping them travelling like we do for the challenge cup every year. If we could sell out a 3 match series which is proven to be a close affair why cant we expand series to 5 matches in the future taking games around more giving RFL more options.- 567 replies
