I listened to the commentary on radio york, Barrow had 12 men for two thirds of the game, and were down to 11 for a period, there was a confrontation with a raiders player and the vociferous crowd, and the ref (Mr Merrick) got some criticism for Barrows penalty count as there were high tackles and niggles a plenty...The fact of the matter is York didnt have the skill, composure or nouce to put the game to bed and Barrow nicked it, Make no mistake about it the Lions have got a great chance now the tie is at Sedgeley park and I wish you every success...(As long as we beat the cougars!). I suspect York are busted and you will own them when you use the pitch to its full potential ( the real estate behind the sticks!).

As expected, gutted we can't make it, but be very afraid! - we only miss about 3 games a season and when we do the lads play out of their skins
