Special presentation made to Shaun Leaf

<p>Doncaster Rugby League chief executive Carl Hall made a special presentation to retired Dons star Shaun Leaf following our game with Hull FC on Sunday.</p>

<p>Shaun, who spent his whole career with the Dons was forced to retire from the game last season after suffering a series of head injuries and the club have decided to set up a day in honour of our former captain who has given over a decade of service to Doncaster Rugby League.</p>

<p>The former centre was presented with a specially framed Dons shirt, signed rugby ball with messages from team-mates and a special retirement fund.</p>

<p>Chief executive Carl Hall said: “Shaun has given his all for this club and he has been a great servant to Doncaster RLFC.</p>

<p>“We had a celebration game for Shaun back in November, but we wanted to make a special presentation with all of our supporters present.</p>

<p>“It was an unfortunate end with how Shaun was forced to retire, but it was great for everyone together to give Shaun the send off he deserved.”</p>
