Rhinos first teamers set to feature

Dons News

Doncaster are set for yet another stern test this weekend as 7 time Super League winners Leeds Rhinos make the short journey over to the Keepmoat Stadium.

The Dons regained the South Yorkshire Cup in their first pre-season outing with a 22-18 win over Championship side Sheffield Eagles, and the games continue to come thick and fast.

With Leeds already naming their squad for their friendly against Featherstone a couple of days before, the club have announced that they are looking to rotate their squad with some first team players expected to turn out against Gary Thornton’s side.

Loose-forward Stevie Ward, who has played the best part of 100 games at the top level could be one of those players to make an appearance against the Dons. Alongside him, the likes of Brett Delaney, Ash Handley and Jordan Lilley could also step out onto the Keepmoat surface.

Tickets for the game against the Rhinos are priced at £10 adults, £8 concession and £2 juniors.
