19 Man Squad Announcement – Whitehaven

Head Coach Craig Lingard has today named an initial 20 man squad to face Whitehaven this Sunday at Cougar Park.

Ahead of the Betfred League One Round 8 battle between the teams who currently sit 6th and 5th in early standings, Linners has opted to name a 20 man squad with one to drop out ahead of Sunday’s game.

18 of the 19 man squad who defeated Newcastle Thunder last Sunday are named with the player missing out being St Helens loanee Ben Morris who has been ruled out for 4-6 weeks with a rib injury sustained at Kingston Park.

Scotland international winger Davey Dixon is one of two players to come into the initial squad along with Dan Parker who is named for the first time this season after recovering from the hand injury sustained in the pre-season defeat away at Bradford.

Hamish Barnes (Shoulder) and Trae O’Sullivan (Head) are ruled out through injury along with Emmerson Whittel (Knee).
