"Violence mars Catalans victory" is right up there with "Fog in Channel, Continent cut off." Perhaps not quite up to par with Duff Cooper, saying after being rescued after the Titanic, "It was quite a serious evening."

Or as Mickey Mac (sorry, serial killer Jeffery Dahamer) said when caught out, "I really messed up this time".
