Wigan Warriors are proud to support Movember along with the Betfred Super League to join the mission to change the face of men’s health.

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health on a global scale, focusing on mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

WHY MO IN 2020?

Wild, weird, challenging, monumental, rocky, what the hell – there are lots of ways to describe 2020. It’s been a big year for humanity, and through it all Movember’s mission has stayed the same: stop men dying too young.

THE STATS:

  • 3 OUT OF 4 suicides are by men In England
  • Suicide is the leading cause of death among MEN AGED 20-34
  • 4,300 MEN take their own lives every year in the UK.
  • 1 IN 8 MEN will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
  • MORE THAN 48,500 MEN Each year, more than 48,500 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer in the UK.
  • MORE THAN 333,500 men are estimated to be living with or beyond prostate cancer in the UK.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

YOUR MOUSTACHE MAKES A DIFFERENCE So how can you change the face of men’s health? The answer is right under your nose.

  1. SHAVE START GROWING Start clean-shaven on Movember 1, then let your Mo take the spotlight and start conversations.

2. GROW KEEP IT NEAT The first few weeks can be uncomfortable as your Mo takes shape, ignore the itching and sculpt your Mo. Remember, no beards, no goatees, and no fake moustaches.

3. GROOM MAKE IT COUNT Ask friends and family to back your Mo by donating. End the month with a shave-off on November 30.

So help Super League by becoming an official Mo Bro or Mo Sis and tweet us with your Tash updates, donate here and share the link far and wide.

Keep an eye out for Wigan Warriors players growing their tash out in the mission to change the face of men’s health.
