Warriors News
We are asking Wigan Warriors fans to name fellow supporters who have passed away in the last year. In the week leading up to our first home game back with fans at the DW Stadium against Hull KR on Friday 18th June, the Club plans to release a special video which will pay tribute to all our fans who have sadly left us in the past 12 months. The video will feature words from the Club’s chaplain, Glen Rickard. We would like to ask fans to get in touch with names of fans who have passed away for any reason since the Covid-19 pandemic began. It is also optional for fans to send in hi-resolution photos as these will be used as appropriate where we can. To send in names and photos, please email info@wiganwarriors.com. We ask fans to submit the relevant details no longer than midday on Friday 11th June in order to be considered for the tribute. We recognise as a Club that the past year has been extremely difficult and challenging for many people and families. We would like to thank all of our fans for the outstanding support throughout the past year in what have been trying times for everyone and we can’t wait to welcome you all back at home at the DW Stadium.
