Wigan Warriors Community Foundation, in partnership with Wigan Council, have been busy providing holiday activities to children across Wigan during the half term break.

Over 200 children attended a mixture of ‘community club camps’ at four local amateur clubs; Wigan St Patricks, Ince Rose Bridge, St Judes and St Cuthberts to ‘player camps’ at Robin Park Arena, with Brad Singleton and Morgan Smithies joining the player camp on Thursday.

This half term also saw the return of the Foundation’s SEND (Special Educational Needs) specific camp with up to 30 children having access to daily multi-sport activities, as well as sensory and arts and craft activities.

“We had Brad Singleton and Morgan Smithies who were great additions to the SEND specific and player camp on Thursday. Every child that attended had the chance to play alongside Brad or Morgan and ask them some questions in a Q&A activity. We are really looking forward to seeing everyone again in the summer holidays.”

Details about holiday activities – hosted by Wigan Warriors Community Foundation during the summer – will be confirmed in due course.
