Following Wednesday’s loss to Warrington, captain Thomas Leuluai admits there is still plenty of improvement for Wigan to work on.

Speaking to Wigan TV, the New Zealand half back says his team let themselves down in certain areas which resulted in the defeat.

The mid-week disappointment halted the Warriors’ recent progress of three consecutive wins, but Leuluai believes there were some positives to take from the game.

“There were some good things in there but there are still some things that are hurting us in games and that we need to work on,” he said.

“I thought we defended alright but our lapses in concentration gave them points.

“We were a lot better than last time we played them [Warrington]. There are positives, but we still have things we need to do to get back to where we were.”
