Our Schools season got underway today with our first ever Development Day - we had 80 students down in year 7 and year 8, most of whom were playing Rugby League for the first time. The Development Day was all about teaching them the core skills and then playing some friendly games ahead of the InspiredBy 9s tournaments we're running at Y7 and Y8 in May, with qualifiers to the South of England 9s in June for the winners (and possibly runners-up).

Was really happy to hit 80 players across 6 school teams! Decent numbers for the tournaments so far with 4 teams entered for year 7 and 5 teams entered for year 8.

Next Tuesday we've got the same event but for girls ahead of their tournaments.
