Details confirmed for play-off clash with Hunslet

 

Rochdale Hornets’ qualifying play-off semi-final against Hunslet will take place on Sunday 15 September, with tickets now on general sale.

The fixture will be a 3pm kick-off at the Crown Oil Arena. 

The Hornets leapfrogged Hunslet to secure home advantage in the first week of the play-offs, courtesy of an impressive victory over second-placed Keighley Cougars last weekend. 

Play-off tickets are now on general sale to all supporters, with visiting fans allocated Block E of the Main Stand. 

As a special offer celebrating the recent sporting success of the town’s rugby league and football teams, we will also be offering 10% off tickets using the code “DOUBLEDALE” at checkout. 

PLEASE NOTE: This offer will only be available until midnight on Friday 6 September. 

It promises to be a blockbuster occasion as both teams look to secure promotion to the Betfred Championship for 2025, and tickets are expected to sell quickly. 

The last meeting between the sides came in June, when the Hornets ran out convincing 48-18 winners on the road, in one of the performances of the season. 

How do the play-offs work?

Defeat in the opening week of the play-offs will not signal the end of either side’s 2024 adventure.

How can I buy tickets?

Tickets are now on general sale via this link.

Until midnight on Friday, using the code “DOUBLEDALE” at checkout will entitle supporters to 10% off their match tickets.

Will my season ticket work?

Only Platinum Members Passes will work through the play offs. All season tickets have now concluded and new tickets will need to be purchased for each match.

Will it be possible to buy tickets at the ground on match day for the Hunslet match?  I have asked at the office but they have not responded   Eric Thickett

Tickets are always available via cash and card facilities on the day.

The club has made it clear that online purchase in advance is a preferred, but tickets on the day in reception for cash and card are always available.
