Swinton Lions play Widnes Vikings at Sedgeley Park on Sunday 21st February, and as primary tennants, will presumably have first call on the ground, so unless the Eagles game is to be played elsewhere, I'm assuming it will be played midweek. huh.gif huh.gif

Double header anyone?

We manage to play 3 games on the same day at Murrayfield and Warrington. Why not 2 at Swinton? KO at either 12:00 or 18:00.

Sounds like Marty heaven!

Yeah I'd go for that, I quite like Swinton (the team that is, not particularly the ground). Although I've now managed four games in a day, thanks to the Magic weekend. laugh.gif laugh.gif

Sounds like a good idea to me so long as the dressing rooms can cope - water etc.

Perhaps we need to start a car sharing thread

Personally I think this is an absolute disgrace. The game is 6 days away and we don't even know what the venue is. Still I suppose this is what happens when you never pay any bills and continually go bust, eventually no-one will do business with you, as they know they'll never get any cash.

Excellent Rant, i totally agree. I spoke to Mr Aston yesterday and he said even he had no idea.

Car sharing is an excellent idea. I have one space left in mine. Bidding begins at 10.

How can anyone put in a realistic bid when they don't know how far you will be taking them?

SUBJECT to approval by the Rugby League and by Sheffield Eagles, Oldham will play the Championship side next Monday night, February 22 at Sedgley Park with an 8.00pm kick-off.

.....there is more, but I am doing my bit for the environment and saving ink on my screen.
