Moderating note:  Rules of the forum on posting about referees


We've had a few people lately skating very close to the edge with their comments on referees so I thought I'd take the opportunity to post, once again, the forum's rules on what you can say about referees.


You can call the referee any variation of incompetent, rubbish or abysmal on the condition that you NEVER insinuate dishonesty or get into abusing the referee.  A breach of that rule gets an absolute minimum of a 7 day suspension from the forum and, depending on our opinion of your past conduct or the severity of the allegation, may get an instant, no warning, permanent ban.


For the avoidance of doubt, we have no sense of humour when it comes to posts "jokingly" suggesting referees have been bought out or similar.  They get treated the same way as frothy mouthed rants about referee dishonesty.


There is absolutely no excuse for anyone implying referees in our game are dishonest.

Arguing with the forum trolls is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good you are, the bird will **** on the board and strut around like it won anyway
