John Roddy has announced on Salford City Radio this evening that Andy Thornley has joined the club.  Thornley is serving a ban from the game that ends at the begining of June.  Two new directors will be announced on the club website soon and both are supporters often seen at matches.

I thought Andy did really well for us when he came in at center last season.He always looked to offload in the tackle and keep the ball alive.When he went missing I thought it was Leiigh`s reaction to either John Roddy joining our board or John Duffy becoming our coach,but it appears there is another reason which has not been made clear.

Don't think it's any secret, it was reported in the press. He was found to be betting on matches, which breaches RFL rules.
