I didn't hear the video refs comments. I can only assume that because the challenge was deemed unsuccessful, the knock on was given. But because the ball went dead, the 20 meter restart was given. But then I don't know where Wigan's knock on came into it. Just scrap the captain's challenge.

Your 2nd option is the best, I think. We already have a club giving up home advantage for Vegas, and next year Dublin as well, I think. The clubs giving up home advantage can be alternated each year.
