Still undecided about making the trip to Leigh. At £23 I would probably be tempted if I knew fev might get a cut so using the Fev Twitter link I tried to book online tickets hoping that would be the case. I then get an 'Oops' from Billy. So I signed up with them but still can't find any tickets. I'm just asked to create a link. The wonders of modern technology. Is there a way to successfully do this?

I accept all the arguments over comparing players from different era's and not being able to say one is better than the other. Some great shouts. Maybe a consensus. Killer for his creativity and football brain? Bibby for his raw pace and clean tackling? Hardman for his reliability, leadership and incredible goal kicking. Marsy. Great call. I remember the season we were promoted. His elusivity then was remarkable.

Bibby was great but Killer is definitely better. Killers football intelligence, hands and creativity set him apart imo.

Out of interest, over the last 50 years, who do you believe was better?

Overall I agree with the general view expressed here. He's not tearing holes in the likes of Dewsbury, Batley and the rest. A few years ago he certainly would have been. I dont think that from now he will get much fitter. He's a big unit thats taken a lot of hammer and he's getting older. It must be difficult to maintain an intense level of physicality at his stage in his career but as long as he does the best he can he's still a big threat and I will be happy with that.

Personally I'm really disappointed its not Blackpool. As a one off shirt and the logic behind it. Nice one.

I think this could be a new and exciting game within a game. Count the opposition spectators. Maybe a pre match prediction. Or a simple will we or won't we score more points than the number of away fans. I think we have a decent shout with that in a couple of games left this season. Lol.

I'd say that was spot on.

Thought he was bang average at best when he played with us before but he really seems to have progressed since then. In the matches I've seen him in more recent times he's looked much stronger and dynamic. Happy with this signing.

Blocker Roache?

Strange and unusual to be renegotiated shorter? Its a moot point. What matters is that Chizzy is under contract for the coming season. Fantastic news.

No damp squib for me. I'd guess we made an incorrect assumption about his contract length. He's a top quality player and could easily find another club if free to do so. To retain him is great news. Well done to those Involved. Bussey next. Please.
