neutralfan
On wednesday evening i went to watch Waterhead versus East Leeds in the Conference challenge cup.At the game i would estimate that there were around 120 spectators at the game but nobody was asked to pay?If everybody paid £2 thats £240 that Waterhead have missed out on?Do they purely survive on profits made over the bar because that's a lot of money for a amateur team to miss out on! barbara henderson
They are sadly not allowed to charge as it is a council owned public pitch, so they have to work hard to raise funds by other means.
neutralfan
O.k. thanks Barbara.I assumed that all Ncl sides owned their own grounds and it was part of their essential criteria for seeking entry into the NCL.Waterheads clubhouse did have plenty of people in on the night by the way!
