  1. More what I expect the selection to be, but I wouldn't have a problem with it if Davis continues the form of the last two games when not playing at hooker. I imagine Hughes will stay in the 17 because of his versatility if nothing else, covering prop, second row and centre.
  2. I hope Lam resists the temptation to move Trout back to second row when Mulhern is back, and sticks with O'Neill. Will be good to be able to rotate Mulhern, Trout and Joffa to manage their minutes leading up to the play offs, if they stay fit. I can see Tuitivake missing out though. Davis has just put in a couple of very good performances as an interchange prop / 13, and Tuitivake is always the last sub used.
  3. Not seen enough of Sailor to make a comparison, but Armstrong has also been very good defensively, making a few try saving tackles and putting his head where boots are flying to gather low kicks while being safe under the high ball.
  4. That 48-30 was as fun to watch as a defeat can be. But I’m glad we’ve improved our defence since then though
  5. There was a proper meltdown when he signed and Amone didn’t. Just people saying they watch NRL and that he’s no good. Been an excellent signing. Saints should really have put points on in the first 20 of each half, but had so little in attack, and Leigh’s goal line defence did what they needed to do.
  6. Quick question for you. Do you think Saints have any idea?
  7. EFL also get the small matter of around £900m over 5 years.
  8. Because we only had 2 games this season not already being broadcast live and it's not worth the setup only for two games? Or those 2 games were in the Challenge Cup, which is a comp that had broadcast deals?
  9. I'm dubious as to how much Sky are actually paying for the production, given the quality we're getting.
  10. The points thing should work, but they have massively overcomplicated it, and brought double jeopardy in, given how the rolling points work and some still stay on your record even after serving a ban for those incidents.
  11. Are we letting Beaumont run the game and its strategy?
  12. Was surprised, and pleased, to hear him say that IMG would be handling the broadcast negotiations. And he gave more support for IMG and praise for their work than I’ve heard from anyone else in a senior position at RLCom or the RFL.
  13. Clubs don’t need to install an RFL chair to increase the number of teams in Super League though.
  14. It was transparent in the sense that people could see through it.
