Scott Taylor still a Hull FC target, say reports

Reports are circulating today that suggest Hull FC have not given up their pursuit of Wigan prop Scott Taylor, despite suggestions the Warriors may have activated a clause in his contract that ties him down to the DW Stadium until the end of next year.

The Hull-born 23-year-old joined Shaun Wane’s side in 2013 and won the Challenge Cup and Grand Final in his debut season. In 13 games this year, the former Hull KR front-rower has scored one try, made over 1,000 metres, nearly 300 tackles and just short of 150 carries.

Lee Radford is said to be very keen on signing him to bolster his already impressive front row, and it’s thought a return to his home town could be very tempting. However, Wigan boss Wane is sure to have something to say about that.
