London Broncos announce squad numbers

London Broncos Rugby League has announced their squad numbers for the 2015 Kingstone Press Championship season.

Head coach Joey Grima has included nine London produced and developed players in his 26-man squad whilst bringing in a wealth of experience from the UK and overseas.

“I’m really pleased with a mix of youth and experience we have in the squad,” said Grima. “From the outset we wanted a squad full of great players but even better people and that’s what we’ve achieved.

“The squad have bonded well during pre-season and are all raring to get stuck in to our pre-season friendly games.”

1. RICHARD MATHERS – Full-back with over 260 first grade appearances in Super League and NRL
2. RHYS WILLIAMS – Welsh international winger who has appeared 14 times for Wales
3. BEN FARRAR – Centre with over 100 first grade games with almost 80 for NRL sides
4. WES NAIQAMA – Fiji international centre with 14 tests and NRL player with over 120 first grade games
5. BEN HELLEWELL – Wing or full-back with bags of Championship experience and seven Scotland caps
6. LIAM FORAN – Half-back with NRL and Super League experience over a six year career
7. WILLIAM BARTHAU – French international half-back with eight appearances and 22 for Catalan in Super League
8. NICK SLYNEY- Former Brisbane Broncos prop forward who also had experience at the Cowboys and in the Queensland Cup.
9. RAY NASSO – Italian international hooker having played nine times also played in Australia and France
10. JOSH CORDOBA – Experienced forward with over 100 first grade games including Parramatta and Cronulla
11. DANIEL HARRISON – Second rower with experience at Manly and Parramatta in the NRL
12. RHYS LOVEGROVE – Forward and a one-club man until joining the Broncos after 132 appearances and eight years at Hull KR
13. LUKE ADAMSON – Experienced forward with over 130 first grade games for Salford and Halifax
14. BRAD DWYER – Young hooker with lots of experience, almost 70 games at Warrington, Swinton and Huddersfield.
15. MATT GARSIDE – Over 100 games for Championship sides with excellent strike rate at centre
16. GLENN RILEY – Towering forward with experience at Warrington and Swinton Lions
17. ERJON DOLLAPI – Home-grown Albanian born forward with more than 20 first team games
18. JONATHAN WALLACE – Maltese international forward who made his debut in 2014 having impressed in the Broncos u19s
19. JOE KEYES – Speedy half-back who made his debut in 2014, home-grown plus England Academy international
20. ILIESS MACANI – Home-grown wing or full-back with first team appearances
21. JOEL WICKS – Home-grown hooker with Super League experience having come through the u19s academy
22. OSCAR THOMAS – Returning after time in rugby union, home-grown and played for Scotland in Euro cup in 2014 at full-back
23. TOBY EVERETT – Big home-grown forward who impressed in u19s and made two Super League appearances
24. ALEX WALKER – Home-grown full-back who played for the Broncos against Bradford Bulls in the last game of 2014
25. BURNETT – Yet to make a first grade debut but played for Scotland and impressed at u19s at centre
26. SEAN MORRIS – Winger who joined from Oxford RL, impressive strike rate in Championship 1

The Broncos kick off the Kingstone Press Championship season at The Hive on 15th February against Doncaster.
