New Hull Kingston Rovers man Kieran Dixon believes that full-back is the role where he can produce his best form – and is targeting a prolonged run in the role for his new side in 2015.
Despite making his name as a rapid winger for London Broncos, Dixon is adamant that he is best in the No. 1 jersey – which is what he has been handed by coach Chris Chester for the forthcoming season.
And he says that when he is in that role, he doubts whether anyone can catch him in broken play.
“Full-back is a position I feel where I can play my best rugby,” Dixon told the Hull Daily Mail.
“My chance came at London on the wing and at that stage I couldn’t turn anything down, but it’s full-back where I feel I’m best suited. It suits me in attack. I back myself to push through any hole and once I am through I doubt anyone will catch me.”
