Wakefield Trinity Wildcats are facing the prospect of being without forward Chris Annakin for a lengthy period, after he suffered an injury in training.
Annakin doesn’t need an operation after the injury, but he will miss over two months worth of action.
“He has done his ankle in training and he’ll be out for quite a while,” coach James Webster told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
“He doesn’t need an operation, but it will be eight to 10 weeks.
“I feel bad for him. He had a bad one last year with his knee and this one will be lengthy as well.”
