Hock admits he’s working on his behaviour

New Leigh Centurions signing Gareth Hock admits he is working on improving his behaviour on the field, after being confirmed as the club’s new signing on Thursday afternoon.

Hock will miss the next six games due to suspension, meaning he’ll be unable to play for the Centurions for a lengthy period. However, he insisted that his behaviour is something he’s seeking to improve in a bid to increase his importance to his new team.

Hock said: “I play the game with aggression and passion and sometimes things don’t go my way, but I’m working on it very hard, on my behaviour.”

Leigh boss Paul Rowley meanwhile, believes that there is nothing to be worried about regarding the signing of Hock, saying that he will bring a winning culture to the club that they are looking for.

“I’m not concerned,” he said. “He’s a winner and we want winners at the club.”
