St Helens to cover -12 handicap (11/10)
All eyes will be on Langtree Park on Friday night, as St Helens look to bounce back from that disappointing defeat to South Sydney by extending their winning start to Super League XX. And the champions should have plenty of motivation to hit back in style, and with that motivation driving them forward, The Tipster is backing them to cover a 12-point handicap, which is nicely priced at 11/10.
Hull KR/Wigan HT/FT bet (6/1)
Wigan Warriors face a tricky trip to Hull Kingston Rovers on Sunday, with the Robins keen to get their first win of the season at the third attempt. They have been bright in the opening 40 minutes of their first two games though, before ultimately falling away heavily in the second half. Therefore, the Warriors to come from behind at the break and win is not a bad bet, and at 6/1, there’s plenty of money to be made from this one.
Jordan Rankin first try scorer for Hull FC v Salford (12/1)
With no Jamie Shaul for Hull this weekend, it’s likely Jordan Rankin will take his place at fullback for FC as they face out-of-sorts Salford. And with Rankin in the side at a prime attacking position, it might be wise to lump on him to be the first try scorer in this one. At 12/1, he’s a tempting price that we think you simply can’t ignore.
Warrington to beat Catalans by 6-10 (6/1)
Warrington’s start to the season has been mightily impressive, although a trip to Perpignan to face Catalans Dragons is far from an ideal fixture to have this weekend. Should the weather be favourable for the Wolves though, there’s every possibility they could make it three wins in a row – and with a relatively tight winning margin of 6-10 being valued at 6/1, if you want to back the Wolves, this could be the bet.
