Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane believes the best of his side is still yet to come, and insists that a team is going to get “hit” in the near future.
The Warriors have been far from perfect in the opening weeks of Super League XX, claiming just one win from their opening four matches to sit just a point off the foot of the table.
But Wane is not worried ahead of tonight’s match against Hull FC, and insists that he’s confident that his team will be ready to dish out a heavy scoreline on someone in the coming weeks.
“No team has seen the best of us yet,” he told Wigan Today.
“But one thing I’m confident about is this bubble, this group here, and what we are in control of.
“If we keep concentrating on ourselves, working hard, and have the right attitude, there’s no doubt about it – a team is going to get hit pretty soon.”
