Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have snapped up a second signing of the day, picking up St Helens prop Jordan Hand on a one-month loan deal.
The signing of Hand follows on from the one-month loan deal for George Griffin earlier in the day, and he’s not the only Saints player to head out on loan today.
Young hooker Matty Fozard will also depart on a short-term deal, signing for Championship side Batley Bulldogs on a one-month loan deal, too.
“Both Matty and Jordan need to be playing regularly,” Saints Chief Executive Mike Rush said.
“There is strong competition for places in the squad at St Helens and therefore we are more than grateful to Batley and Wakefield for agreeing to these moves.
“We will monitor their progress and of course wish them luck for the next month.”
