Castleford Tigers will be forced to go into battle on Friday without two of their star players, after Andy Lynch and Michael Shenton were left out of the 19-man squad to face Salford.
Shenton has not yet recovered from a shoulder knock, whilst Lynch has suffered a re-occurence of an earlier injury to force him out of the match against the Rangi Chase-inspired Devils.
Meanwhile, Salford have been able to welcome back star forward Cory Paterson for the game, as boss Iestyn Harris names a strong 19-man squad. The game will see not only Chase, but former second-rower Weller Hauraki return to the Mend-A-Hose Jungle to face his former club.
Castleford 19-man squad: Boyle, Carney, Clare, Cook, Crossley, Dorn, Finn, Gale, Gibson, Holmes, Massey, McMeeken, Millington, Milner, Moore, Moors, Roberts, Webster, Wheeldon.
Salford 19-man squad: Chase, Dobson, Evalds, Fages, D Griffin, J Griffin, Hansen, Hauraki, Johnson, Jones-Bishop, Lee, Locke, Morley, Paterson, Sa’u, Tasi, Taylor, Walne, Walton.
