Hull FC winger Talanoa signs new deal

Hull FC have handed a new two-year deal to rampaging winger Fetuli Talanoa, who will remain at the club until the end of the 2017 season.

Talanoa, who appeared in all 27 of Hull’s Super League games during his debut season at the club, impressed during his first year scoring 10 tries, making over 2,400 metres and his powerful running game busting through  72 tackles. He was the only player to feature in every single minute of action for Lee Radford’s side last year.

And the Hull FC coach insisted it was not a tough decision to renew Talanoa’s deal, and sees him as a key squad member moving forward in the coming years.

“This was a very easy decision for us to make,” Radford told the club’s official website. “Fetuli has been a great signing for us and has continued where he left of last year.

“He is a big part of the squad, not only on the field but off it too. I know he has really settled in the area and loves the club which is reflected in his performances.

“Hopefully he can be an integral part of a successful period at the club.”
