
Several Super League stars have picked up bans on Wednesday evening from the RFL’s disciplinary hearing, including two from Salford Red Devils.
The big news sees Rangi Chase suspended for SEVEN MATCHES after a Grade E charge of a dangerous throw.
Weller Hauraki was also banned by the disciplinary panel, after he was hit with a two-match ban for a Grade B striking charge during the match against Wigan Warriors. He was also issued with a further two-match ban for a Grade B charge of reckless striking, downgraded from Grade C.
Widnes Vikings forward Danny Tickle will miss the trip to former club Hull FC on Friday, after he received a one-match ban for a Grade B charge of reckless striking. However, Lloyd White can play after being found not guilty of dangerous contact.
Mitch Allgood of Hull KR and Josh Griffin of Salford also escaped bans; after Allgood was found not guilty of a Grade A charge of dangerous contact, whilst Griffin was fined £300 after pleading guilty to Grade A contrary behaviour.
