Salford Red Devils have completed the loan signing of former hooker Wayne Godwin, who has re-joined the club on an initial one-month deal.
Godwin, a former Wigan and Bradford hooker as well as several other clubs, has joined the Devils from Dewsbury Rams to provide cover at hooker after Tommy Lee was ruled out for a lengthy period.
Godwin is available immediately, and could make his debut for the club during Saturday’s Challenge Cup tie against Leigh Centurions at Leigh Sports Village.
He is a former teammate of Salford coach Iestyn Harris too, the pair having spent time together at Bradford Bulls in the 2008 season.
