Leigh Centurions forward Gareth Hock has admitted he can’t wait to run out against his former club Salford tomorrow – and jokingly says he’s aiming to shut some Red Devils fans up!
Hock left Salford earlier this year and is set to line up for the Centurions at Leigh Sports Village on Saturday afternoon – the first time he will face his former club since heading to the Championship.
“I’m looking forward to playing against my old team – I’m really looking forward to it,” Hock told the BBC’s North West Tonight.
“It’s a big game; there’s a big vibe about it and you can sense it around the town. It’ll be a good game and it should be a close one, but I think we’ll get them.
“I’m really looking forward to playing, and looking forward to playing against Salford. I’ve got plenty of good mates there but they’re not your friends for the day!”
