Warrington Wolves have turned down an approach from Leigh Centurions to sign hooker Micky Higham with immediate effect.
Higham is contracted at the Wolves until the end of the current 2015 season and, with current Steve Prescott Man of Steel Daryl Clark out with injury, the Wolves have rejected the Centurions’ approach.
“He is a key part of our first team and one of our more influential and experienced players. We believe he has a big role to play in the future success of 2015,” said a statement issued by Warrington.
The Wolves have also recalled Brad Dwyer from his loan spell at London Broncos with immediate effect.
