Castleford Tigers winger Justin Carney has insisted that any rumours linking him with a switch to Hull FC for 2016 are not true.
Speaking before the club’s game against Widnes this weekend, Carney – who recently returned to the side from an elbow injury – said he’s no idea where those rumours have come from, and there’s nothing in them.
“I don’t know anything about that. I’m very happy here at Castleford,” he told the club’s YouTube channel.
“I signed a five-year deal with the club last year and I’m not going anywhere.
“All that sort of stuff is just rumours, and a load of rubbish.”
Carney is expected to feature again this weekend as the club look to keep up their charge for a top-four spot by defeating the Vikings.
