Sandow excited by Warrington challenge

Warrington Wolves half-back Chris Sandow has revealed that it was an easy decision to join the club immediately – and says he’s excited about the challenge of playing in Super League.

The 26-year-old has signed a deal until the end of 2017, and is likely to make his debut for the club against Leeds Rhinos on Friday night.

And Sandow said that he’s settled in seamlessly at the club, and talked about his decision to leave Parramatta and come to England.

“I’m settling in really well and I’ve trained well today,” he said at a packed media conference on Monday.

“The training facilities are good, similar to back home in Australia.

“I’m really excited to be here and to have the opportunity to play for Warrington in Super League. I made my mind up straight away when Tony (Smith) got on the phone – we got along straight away and I’ve come here for a great opportunity to play in England.”
