Halifax head coach Richard Marshall was upbeat following his side's 14-0 defeat to Widnes.
Fax put in a brilliant display and nullified Widnes for large periods, and only trailed four nil with three minutes remaining.
Defeat brought an end to Halifax's nine game winning streak, but Marshall refused to be disappointed.
