Halifax have finally announced the signings of Sam Smeaton and Gavin Bennion.
Both players have been strongly linked with moves to Fax, with League Express revealing both as targets of Halifax for a number of months.
Centre Smeaton joins Richard Marshall's side after a successful spell at Sheffield.
