John Kear has expressed interest in bringing Halifax winger Alex Brown to Batley.
Brown, who scored 14 tires in 13 games on loan at the Bulldogs last season, has been made available by Fax after failing to break into the first-team last season.
He made the move to Halifax from Batley ahead of the 2015 season, and Kear is now keen to bring Brown back after his short stint away.
“I’m a big fan of Alex Brown, I don’t think that’s a secret,” said Kear.
“If we could secure him then we would, but it’s the end of November now and I’m sure a lot of clubs have spent up, and I’m sure that’s what the board of directors will be telling me.
“I’ll be trying to see if I can have a few interesting conversations with our board of directors.”
