Wakefield Wildcats have agreed to play touring side Newcastle Yowies.
Brian Smith's side shall take on the Yowies at Belle Vue on Friday 29 January (7.30 ko), nine days before their opening Super League fixture against Widnes Vikings.
The Yowies were established just over 20 years ago in Newcastle, New South Wales.
