Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane has revealed that forward Lee Mossop will go for a scan on the shoulder injury suffered in Sunday’s friendly loss to Leigh today – but he could be playing again as soon as this weekend.
Mossop picked up the knock during the defeat to the Centurions, with fears that he had picked up an injury that could have ruled him out of the start of the season.
But it seems those fears are not as bad as first thought, with Wane telling the media during his weekly press briefing that he could play again as soon as this Sunday’s friendly against Salford.
Wigan’s official Twitter account has the latest:
Wane confirms that Lee Mossop will go for a scan on a shoulder injury. Should be back in action very soon though, maybe even Sunday.
