Alex Walmsley and Adam Swift have been named in the St Helens sqaud to play Huddersfield.
Neither have featured in pre-season as the continue to recover from injuries, however the duo, who were integral members of Saints’ squad last season, are both in the 19 for Friday night’s opening round fixture.
All four debutants – Jack Owens, Lama Tasi, Dominique Peyroux and Theo Fages are also in the squad.
