Leeds Rhinos have confirmed Danny McGuire will miss the next six to eight weeks with a knee injury and will miss the World Club Challenge clash with North Queensland Cowboys.
Their newly appointed captain limped off in the Rhinos’ 12-10 reverse against Warrington on Thursday.

It leaves the Rhinos in a tricky situation in the halfback position. With McGuire and Liam Sutcliffe still regaining match fitness, Rob Burrow would be a viable replacement, however with Beau Falloon recovering from a broken toe that would leave the Rhinos short in the number nine role.
